M-Net owns the rights to some of Africa’s best produced short, feature and documentary length films, from 50 years of African film production. Over the years M-Net has been digitally re-mastering works in English, French, Arabic and Portuguese to make up the African Film Library, the largest movie library of its kind in the world. The library consists of award-winning works from more than 80 film makers including Senegalese Ousmane Sembene and Djibril Mambety, Yousef Chahine from Egypt, Kwaw Ansah from Ghana and Haile Gerima from Ethiopia.

Working for convergency agency Don’t Look Down, supplying art direction, the project’s brief was to create supportive digital and print ready collateral in the form of movie posters to support the marketing efforts of these African gems.
